A TROPICAL PARADISE IN LIMPOPO PROVINCE
The R71 is the start of your journey to the heartbeat of Limpopo, Tzaneen through to the Kruger National Park. Enjoy activities of all kinds, from family activities to adventure activities - all sorts of things
Let's go via R71 roadThe R36 is a provincial route in South Africa that connects the N1 with Ermelo, via Tzaneen and Lydenburg. The R71 joins the R36 and they share one road southwards into the city, crossing the Great Letaba River next to the Tzaneen Dam, up to the off-ramp junction with the R528 Road, where the R71 becomes the road east-north-east while the R36 remains on the southerly road.
Let's go via R36 roadThis well designed pass is a safer, shorter and faster alternative to the better known Magoesbaskloof Pass (R71) as a connecting road between Haenertsburg and Tzaneen. George's Valley runs north-east from the Ebenezer Dam to Tzaneen Dam.
Let's go via R528 roadTravelers searching for hotel in South Africa have access to a wide range of options, regardless of their budget or preference for opulent resorts or affordable lodging in Tzaneen. Tzaneen, which is the second largest town in the Mopani region of Limpopo, which is located at the base of the Wolkberg Mountains in the northern slopes of the Drakensberg range, is described as an enticing subtropical garden town.
Go2Tzaneen is an initiative by Greater Tzaneen Tourism Association that seeks to inform the general public on what to do, where to go in and around Tzaneen. We are one hub which is a mouth piece to expose tourism destinations in and around Tzaneen to dine, sleep and meet at various hospitality establishments.
